I:40 is an exploration of Christ's assumption of form.  It is an interaction of Word and Light formed through extrusion intended to encourage the celebration of Christmas.

Extrusion is the process of creating objects of a fixed cross sectional profile.  During extrusion raw material is given form.

Advent is the season of anticipation for the coming of Jesus Christ’s birth on Christmas day.  It is the season of anticipation for when Jesus Christ is given or assumes human form.

And the Glory of the Lord shall be revealed!  Isaiah 40:5
